After 5 weeks break from football Calverton looked to progress their cup efforts at home against Bagthorpe Athletic. This re-arranged fixture, following a water logged pitch the week before, was eagerly awaited by the squad who were beginning to get desperate to play some competitive football.
Bagthorpe who play in Sunday Yellow must have been quietly confident of an upset as they came into the game with 5 for 5 wins under their belt and a whopping 29 goals scored in the league.
