After traveling to Vernon Park on two consecutive Sundays, and returning without any points, Colts got back with a home win over Netherfield Colts Orange. A match report is in progress as I write and will be on the site later today.
The fixtures have been updated by the YEL to accommodate the FA Shield matches on Sat 4th Nov. The YEL have moved the Sunday 5th Fixtures to Sunday 19th November.

Calverton began today’s game without Jahmar and Ben, leaving the squad without any substitutes, and therefore a lot of pressure was placed on the remaining eleven to work hard and avoid any injuries.
It was Netherfield who began the brightest with some very strong running down their right and some clever cross field balls. Their early forages paid off with a free kick, Kieran bringing down the player about twenty five yards out. Callum dealt well with their free kick and broke out only to see his great ball to David miskicked out of play. Calverton then earn a free kick down near the corner flag which Luke takes and Dane puts into the side netting. Netherfield hit back in the sixth minute their strike going just wide of the upright, and again in the eighth Netherfield shoot past the near post from wide on the right.
